I Serve a Jealous God

When God gave the Law “You will not have any god’s before me” to Moses on Mt. Sinai, He wasn’t just referring to carved images, broken temples and golden calf’s. God desires us to not place “anything” in between us and Him. I would ask you to examine your life style and determine if someone or something is standing between the relationship you have with Christ. If so, pray that God will help you see that He is jealous for your heart. God is a jealous God, and He is not jealous “of” you, but He is jealous “for” you. That is, for your devotion, commitment and desire to worship Him. I pray you will have a wonderful week and enjoy the Independence Day celebration.

As I sat in church Sunday morning listening to the sermon I felt like I was in a service from about 15 years ago and in todays society I belive it is exactly what we need! A message that reminds us just excatly how God expects us to live our life!! Pastor Skeens did a great job getting his message across and I look forwrd to hearing part two of this message. I am excited about all that God has in store for Cornerstone! I 'm ready to to see the miracles and the lifes changed as we walk into Gods presence together..

Very nice job on the message Pastor Skeens. It was one of, if not the best sermon I've sat through.
